1 A Time of Preparation:

The crickets start chirping loudly in mid-August. Time to prepare!

Get your wardrobe together before temperatures drop so you can resist the temptation to wear

baggy old sweats. Feeling good about how you look will make Winter more bearable.

Clean down comforters, order candles, blankets, pillows, and other warm and  cozy

paraphernalia.  Get your stash of chocolate together, along with your favorite warm beverages.

Start looking at the weather report once a day.  Looking weeks or months ahead might make

you feel depressed.

2 A Few Pairs of Ann Taylor Loft’s Signaturesoft Sweatshirts and Sweatpants:

Ann Taylor Loft’s Signaturesoft Sweatshirts and Sweatpants are lightweight and stretchy.

Use them as loungewear, activewear, or the perfect remote work attire!

These sets are Ideal for layering and come in an array of colors!

Throw them on for a quick trip to the store.  They make the perfect Christmas gift, too.

3 Get Your Glow On

The heat is running high in the house, and your skin looks like you have aged ten years!

A large container of Cerave Moisturizing Cream will be your holy grail!

Apply liberally to your whole body!

Spritz Clinique Hydrating Spray on your face anytime  you need a little shine, and purchase a

good humidifier!

4 Add a Little Cashmere.

J Crew cashmere hats and scarves are a girl’s best friend!

Put those babies on; you won’t mind heading outside on a cold day!

Get a pair or two in your favorite colors, and you’ll be all set.

5   Down Comforter:

Mom was right!  You’ll spend a little more, but you won’t sweat!  Just pure coziness!

6  Indoor Exercise Equipment:

Let’s face it!  There are going to be those days when you want to hibernate inside.

Good quality  indoor workout equipment like a Peloton or an Elliptical will be a  lifesaver on a

cold, nasty day.

7  A Pantry Full of Tea:

Fill your pantry with a variety of your favorite teas! Let the simple pleasure of a warm cup of

tea soothe your soul.  Spring will be here soon!

8  Find A Good Show or Movie:

You are warm and cozy in your Ann Taylor Loft sweats, have your favorite tea in hand, and have consistently been sticking to your workout routine.  It’s time for a bit of fun!  Search online for a good series or movie to watch.  A snow day may be the best time to research your next move or vacation in the Sunshine State.  Baby, it is cold outside. You are doing great!

9  Your Cellphone:

You need REAL connections on snow days.  Texting is NOT an option.

When Mr. Depression starts knocking at the door, don’t answer.  Call a friend and connect.
